The end of my Facebook ‘friends’..

(a recent post to my facebook friends)

I’ve taken the liberty of ‘instantaneously deleting’ all non family members, apart from the odd straggler.

For those that, ergo, realise that you have been ‘instantaneously deleted’ and look at my profile you should see this message as it is public, and note post hoc, that you can still contact me via the FB messenger – that’s right, I’ll still be here, in the flesh (mmkkkayy).

If you think you might be in the category of a, shall we say, an ‘instantaneous deletion’ and I have missed you please let me know and I shall ‘instantaneously delete’ you.

Obviously we are not twisting through the ether via a ‘post hoc ergo propter hoc’ type situation, mkkkayy.. Things simply are.

Social Media

I’ve decided to delete all Social Media from my ‘Smartphone’, not much of a smartphone anymore hey… In the final analysis I have found it simply to invasive into the everyday life and to be quite honest, notice it is a little bit of a problem for most people.

I didn’t even use it that much anyway. The first thing I noticed, putting it back down, in a few words, which of course explains a lot, was, that I suddenly felt I had half a day more of time and energy, I was thinking about so much more, and there was a massive void left wide open, much more than I realized….

If the first thing you think of is; ‘Not me, I don’t even look that much’ – guess what, that’s a reactive mechanism homi’s. Anyway, I think it’s a very positive thing to be connected, but not in an invasive manner. Re-read from the top, you’ll laugh ;()

Political Opinions

The three things I notice about people, generally speaking across the gaffe of social media are:

1. All seem to be highly critical of the person, yet rarely have any comments to the agenda.

2. There seems to be much hatred.

3. No other solutions are offered, merely critique.

As I see it, this is resisting the experiences of life on many levels. As a practical way forward, this could adopted:

1. Focussing on principles, not personalities. We are all human an capable of making mistakes and even annoying others simply by our presence. If anything, we should first critique ourselves first, then, should we have some discernment, push ahead cautiously.

2. Avoid venting frustration and anger into others, as this anger, is merely a projection of our own weaknesses where we seek to justify our position, to the exclusion of self awareness and harmony.

3. Should one come from a position of responsibility and harmony, focus on principal. Try coming up with new, creative an exciting policies that can be lobbied to our representatives in both media and politics.

Enjoy, and good hunting!
