The Psychology of Extreme Sports

Interesting “justification” regarding extreme sports.

There is a illusion/delusion that people think that they ‘have to’ or ‘need to’ or even ‘want to’ do such an act. The fact that people ‘try to “be” something’, ie.. a hero, means that they are seeking resolution of a major internal glitch outside of themselves.

And then, to add insult to injury, compulsively feel that they feel that need to keep doing this to feel natural, and alive, where this is the exact counterfeit to truth, where they seek death, to feel…. alive.
